Cynthia,
On the embrodiery part of the burp cloth, I use a tear away stablizer. Works well! I love making them. I hope others post what they do with their sergers, as I love new ideas.
I do use cotton or flannel or fleece on the burp cloths to enhance. Hope something I have posted is helpful :)

Yes, deedum, you have been very helpful. I'm hoping to try some, maybe the week after Thanksgiving. Your's are absolutely precious. If you have anymore, please post pictures. Thanks for all your help. - Cynthia

Since diapers shrink, I always wash first. Also, once finished they will go through a LOT of washing and drying. Make sure that you embellishments are securely attached. Please show pictures when you're done. :D
