Buying from board members
One of the members on this board had some fabric and quilt tops for sale back in June. I sent the money through paypal but never received the top. I contacted paypal about a refund. You have 45 days to disputed the item. I have been on vacation and now the 45 days are over. I have tried contacting this person by private messages here on the board and also by her personal email. The email came back as undeliverable.

all transactions are at the sole risk of both buyer and seller.
we do not get involved when something goes wrong.
there's really nothing i can do about it.
in most cases it's "she said, she said" with no way to truly know who is in the wrong.
when i can confidently single out the culprit, the most i can do is bannish that person - which rarely results in a refund or returned items.
this is one of the reasons i stress repeatedly that we are not a selling site or any other type of marketplace.
the Thrift Shop/Yard Sale is just an "extra."
