Ok so I am almost done with this quilt 2 corners left to go  Now I have no idea how to quilt it, usally I just meander. I really want to try and get a pattern in the stars and the wide borders. Any tips, ideas or thoughts? I have a Pfaff Grand Quilter 9 inch arm

Thanks
Ginger

I just bought the June/July 2011 issue of The Quilter Magazine. It has an article on doing feathers by Kim Brunner. Page 94...the title is called "Ruffle Your Feathers" that shows how to incorporate feathers inside of patchwork shapes (rectangle and triangle) I thought I would try some of these ideas in my next quilt.
I think in your quilt, I would Stitch in the Ditch around your stars, stipple in the background of those blocks to make them pop out and do custom feathers in the other large areas. It's a great top, whatever you decide to do will look awesome!
