Default Mexican Star

Does anyone have instructions and/or a picture of the Mexican Star quilt. I think it was posted quite awhile ago. I can't remember if it was this site or another one that I saw it. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

i know there are many different names for blocks but this 'Mexican Cross' is the one i have always known as the mexican star... the other is lovely, just not what i grew up with as that name... different parts of the country......

I used the quilter's cache pattern to make the Mexican Cross (aka Mexican Star) and it turned out beautifully. Easy directions...if I can find a picture I'll post it.

I made one of these with red, white, and blue fabrics for my dad (still need to finish it), since he is Mexican American.

Don't know if this would work, but it is a free pattern for Mexican Star basket. You could use the pattern and just not make it into a basket. I've made this several times and they were fun to make. Hope this helps.
