I am trying to find more information about the woman in the photo or what the patterns around her may be called. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks so much.

All I know is that most of the quilts are applique, with the exception of the star blocks, which look like they were special cuts (sorry can't think of what you call it )
The Kimono girls are a pieced pattern, as is the snowman.
:D

um... that would be 'fussy cuts'. lol...

Do you have any further info about this picture? Where was it from? A book? A quilt magazine? A quilt shop? a tour? What area of the country? how long ago? etc... The quilt behind her would be an applicay cherry design ...like a blooming cherry or something. I'll dig around a bit and see if I find something, but that's not a lot to go on.

The Japanese girl block looks like a pattern by Laurette Carroll. This may be who the lady is. ?

And actually, I bet that's a kalidescope star quilt... a different kind of fussy cut quilt.

Honestly, I just have the picture. I found it online, but I don't know where.

And the pattern I wanted is the autumn leaves one on the bottom left--thanks everyone! Do wish I could find the cherry one, too, though.
