Better to do something imperfectly, than nothing perfectly.
Done is better than perfect.
Love your embroidery and that scalloped border is just so precious!
put off till tomorrow what you can do today, and if you procrastinate long enough, you may never have to do it.
Sorry, I wish I knew as I've been wanting to make a Red Work quilt and these ladies are adorable, sort of like Red Hat Ladies. It's a gorgeous quilt, hope you can find the pattern.
that's beautiful Jane! I think I did the same girls with variegated thread...the thread was really too thick but I was unpersuaded to give up the colors - it's 'decoration'! love it though! now I'm working on little boys with the fishing theme- jack dempsey I think is the company - not sure how many I'll do but it's been an ongoing project for a while/years!

Try looking under redwork big hat girls, or big bonnet girls, there are so many names it could be.
I, too, saw this quilt at "The Airing oh the Quilts" a few years ago. It was definitely hand embroidered as,we talked to the person that made it but she was not too forthcoming with other information. But , if I remember correctly, I think she said it was one of those paint by number designs. I had searched for this pattern at that time as well as both a friend & I want to make it. This quilt is absolutely adorable.
I've even tried Big girls Easter bonnet redwork LOL. Keep looking Gals!!

Well I am sorry to say but the quiltery is the one that may have put out that pattern Her husband was the artist for her patterns. He passed away last year and she closed down the business. Good luck finding the pattern. Luann
