I started making a quilt in this pattern but I don't know the name of it. I downloaded a photo of it because I really liked it. I don't recall if I saw it here on the board or somewhere else.
It's fairly easy and fun to make so far.
It accomodates chain piecing readily. I am doing it in florals and solids rather than like this one.
I am making it for a dear friend of many years who was recently diagnosed with bladder cancer. The docs think they got it all with the surgery and are not recommending further treatments except testing in a few months. I'm going to Ohio to visit my daughter in a couple weeks and will see my friend while I'm there. I want to take the quilt when I go.

I am doing each of my 12 squares in a different color scheme, I hope it comes out like I envision it. LOL.

Very pretty pattern, but I can't name it. Be sure to show us your version when you get it done.

Don't know the name of it but it's very pretty and different. Be sure and let us see yours when it's finished.

Search for venetian quilt pattern and you'll see it.
