Can anyone tell me what walking foot a Brother SE400 would take?

Should I go with the Brother line or a generic? Metal shank one or plastic? Would a BabyLoc one work?

I'm so confused trying to figure it out.

Thanks in advance.

Is it a 7mm machine or a 5mm.
5mm -SA107 foot
7mm -SA140 foot

can buy at www.brothermall.com

Babylock will work but their accessories are generally more expensive than the brother, which is why I always buy the brother.

A generic low shank for zig-zag machine should work just fine.

Jenny at sew-classic is my favorite supplier for all my machines. :)

I bought one for my SE400, the model number is(SA188/ XE1099-011)I got this off the box. Take the part number and go to amazon.com you can get the brother part much less expensively there. I got the part number from the brother website.
