Default PE Design Next should I return it?

I bought PE Design next and am now doubting myself. Has anyone used it? It is worth the big bucks? I was thinking of making embroidered quilt blocks.

It really depends on how involved you want to get. There are less expensive programs available that allow you to merge designs, monogram names, and some revising of designs. My sister has PE Design and she doesn't use it that much. If you just want to monogram names and designs. you only need the USB card or whatever method you use to run to your machine. There are many FREE designs available, too. You can do QAYG amd in-the-hoop designs and appliques. There are a lot of quilting patterns available that can be used on your embroidery machine.

Thanks Nana. I think I made a rash decision on this one. I do buy designs all the time.
