I have nearly 100 (97, but I can make more if need be)6.5" different blocks from a trade with friends. I've had them for years and I'm just now getting around to putting them together. Any ideas for a setting? I was thinking I'd like to make 2 quilts so maybe I could make a large block in the center, with a thin border and then surround with the blocks, then another thin border, then a row of blocks, etc. However, I hate to fiddle with math, but I'd need to figure out the size of the center block and the sizes of the borders. And I'd need to figure out how much fabric I'd need for the borders. Yikes - gives me a headache. Anyone care to tackle this or come up with a better idea? My brain and I thank you!

Of all the things I've lost in life, I miss my brain the most...Maybe i'll quilt one up for myself.
