My son found this design and asked me if I could make it into some kind of quilt for him.

usually blocks are square--
that block looks awfully tall & thin.....
i'm not so sure it is finished?
or maybe it just appears that way....

it's almost a window within a window. it's very interesting. if you draw it out, you can see that each row has to be offset a little. using the right contrasting colors, it could be graphically outstanding.
