I have SO many favorites....and so many on my "to do" list but I love making "trip around the world" and "twisters"

I have the Fab Five by Abbey Lane quilts several times. Love how I can applique, embroidery, and change the size easily. Just a fun quilt for me.

I get a set of wild modern fat quarters once a year (fabric store sale) and I usually make a Turning Twenty to showcase the fabrics. So far I have three done and love them. The fabrics are so unusual that the pattern is really secondary.

I also have made more than one Buggy Barn Angel quilt. It is a great one to give to someone with a health crisis or a special need. Nine angels and a border with our without the words (faith, hope and love) is a perfect larger lap quilt. Or make 12 angels and put it on a bed.

Peggi, Thanks a million for your answer. I have been thinking about this for the last few days, and thought nobody would see my question because it was posted very late in the day, and I didn't think anyone would see it anymore. I don't know my way around this site very well, so I don't know about saving threads, and I don't know where these threads come from. They are obviously somewhere else for a day or two before they get here.

But I knew what leaders and enders were. I could figure that out. We call them "startie-stoppies" or "spiders". But I couldn't figure out what that had to do with 9-patches coming out the end of your quilt. You have been super helpful. I just get such a thrill when I have an Ah-Haaa moment and have learned something new. I love the system of sewing something instead of just putting thread on a scrap.

Now I will see if I can find out how to PM you so you can read this.

Hi, Leesa. I like the x's and O's and the scrappy jelly roll quilt.
    Talk to you soon. Ellie
