I paper pieced this block a few years ago and know it is a state quilt block...but which one....does anyone know?

My friend that taught me the class has sinced died... I'm thinking I might make a quilt around it in her memory

I don't know but like the block very much.I'll keep watch out to see if the pattern turns up somewhere. Thanks for sharing.

It's called Washington Star....it's in the book 50 Fabulous Paper-pieced Stars by Carol Doak. Would you believe I just bought the book yesterday!!!!!

Thank you ...that was one of the ones I was leaning towards...I was thinking either or "T" or "W" state...greatly appreciate.
