Bethany Reynolds did her book Stack & Whack quilt designs. Maxine Rosenthal took it a step further with her book One Block Wonders. Both are a method of taking a fabric with a repeat and stacking the repeat and then cutting your shapes for a kaleidoscope effect block. Cutebuns did a tutorial for QB.
