Has anyone made a cathedral windows quilt using the machine-stitched method by Shelley Swanland? I first saw this method demonstrated several years ago on Simply Quilts and purchased her book. I'm very interested in making a cathedral window quilt but don't know if I have the patience to do it by hand, but I'm also wondering if the results of this machine-stitched method are as pleasing to the eye.

There is a great tutorial on machine made cathedral windows on the tutorial section it is by Eddie, I made one, it was super easy.

i have been to her lectures twice at quilds. I bought a book and her sampler pattern. i have yet to try it. But i can tell you her quilts are beautiful and look wonderful.

one quild is hoping to have her return for a workshop that i will go to if I can.

I've made one cathedral windows pillow and I did it all by machine. I've never heard of Shelley Swanland though-I used a tutorial I found online. Here's mine:
