I received the below email in reference to the CBS Sunday Morning Show about quilts and Ricky Tims. I sent CBS a thank you for airing the show. Here is the response I just received:

Yes it is and it is even better to know they actually read their email. Hopefully maybe now more shows will consist of quilting on regular network channels. I do not get any quilt shows here. Our PBS Greenville, puts what they want on and never is it quilting. Sometimes wood working (which is DH love) but nothing in the sewing field. Besides networks should pay attention. Quilting is growing rapidly as a large community craft. When I first started to learn which was a few years ago and searched on the web for quilt information, like how to, it was very hard to find anything. Even Ebay basically had nothing. I finaly found a book on ebay and I was on my way. But now all you realy have to do is put Qu in search and see what you get. (I don't know for sure, I am going to check as soon as I finish here which is now) .

DonnaRae, I tried Googling "QU" and got lots of stuff besides quilting. BUT, when I Googled "Quilting," I got a bunch of hits!
