Any of you Californian's going on the Central Coast Quilt Run this weekend? I didn't get to go last year cause my daughter got married that weekend but have otherwise gone for 6 years straight. We have a group of 7 going tomorrow. We usually go on Friday and Saturday (since we're from Church we try to avoid missing service)
We live at the very south end of the "run" so we leave at 6 am and drive all the way up to Paso Robles and work our way back down towards home. We go to as many as we can on Friday, not rushing cause we like to look and pet and have fun. We get dinner out on Friday, drive home for the night and then on Saturday we drive up to where we left off and finish up. We usually end up hitting a couple shops that are not on the run (have been in the past) This year there are only 11 shops we will probably hit 13 or 14.
It is so much fun. A little hard on the budget, though!!!

I'm not going because I have never even heard of it until now.
Central Coast Quilt Run? What exactly is that, anyway? I am over here in Merced, CA, and I rarely get any information on quilt events anywhere except local quilt shows in Sonora and Oakhurst because of the other ladies in my class. Is there a link to a website for this "Quilt Run"?
