Here is a cute pattern for a tote bag.

http://mypatchwork.wordpress.com/201...cket-tutorial/

When a pattern calls for charms how do I know what size they are? Are all charms the same size?

So what do you call packs of different size squares?

bear- that's a good question. The only answer I can think of is they don't usually sell them in any other size.

I think Moda has 10 inch squares called "layer cake" they also have smaller cuts (unsure of size) that they call "candy bars". Just google (or other search) for pre-cut fabrics. Oh and cute bag!

The "candy bars" are 2-1/2 x 5 inch. Moda also has "turnovers" which are triangles. Check out their website for free patterns.

Love the bag pattern.
