You probably have this one, in your desk drawer! A letter opener! Yep, letter opener! Today while opening & paying bills, I had a light bulb moment. Thought to myself" It wouldn't hurt to try it". So, I pulled some stash and sewed up this sample. Wahlah, it cut like butter.The best part they were free.

It is a chenille potholder.There are several tutorials on here of different projects that you can make out of chenille. Just go to the search tab at the top of the page. hope this helps

I found it! I have never seen this done, so I'm glad you posted this!! Cute, fun idea. And I have the cutter!!

That's a cool idea. Hope the bank doesn't have a run on these cutters! Will have to check the office supply store for one.

I have one from the phone company that I "liberated" when I retired! Thanks for showing the chenille technique. I was wondering how that worked.
