Default Cheap Jelly Rolls?

I googled cheap jelly rolls and found a site called Jelly Roll Fabric (www.jellyrollfabrics.net) and found decent prices--not great, but decent. A roll of white was $14.97 for 20 strips with free shipping over $50. Anyone know the company and quality of material? If not, anyone found any site cheaper?
Thanks in advance!

I think the website is www.jellyrollfabric.net - it took me a few times to figure it out.

GREAT SITE!!! Thanks for sharing.

wow, where's my credit card?!?! - on their About Us page, they say: We shop for and hand-select all the fabrics that go into your kits, fabric jelly rolls, and fabric packs – and selecting beautiful colors and prints is our specialty! We never put anything into our fabric products we wouldn’t use in our own projects. So the fabric is probably (maybe!) all top-of-the-line.

$14.95 for 20 strips is not necessarily a good price. That makes them $11.50 per yd. if my calculations are correct.

Looking forward to seeing if anyone has ordered from this site- not sure what brand of fabric it is, though. In a typical Jelly Roll, you get 40 strips (sometimes there are duplicates). I know that Green Fairy Quilts, Favorite Fabrics, Fabrics.com, and FatQuarterShop all have the 40 strips rolls ranging from $19.50 to $39 (from Moda, Timeless TreasuresTonga Treats, Hoffman BaliPops, Free Spirit, Northcott Stonehenge, Kaufman-Kona Solids, batiks, and print cottons). So if you are designing from the ground up, check out these other shops too. I have not affiliation with these shops and since I am participating in the Fabric Moratorium, no more jelly rolls for me- not even if they are on sale at 50% off or free shipping.

They are very pretty! Their prices look ok at first glance, but remember, it's 1/2 the amount of fabric in standard jelly rolls. You might do better price wise to watch for sales on other brands for the larger jelly rolls. I've seen some of those fabrics in Joann's and Walmart. Personally, I don't consider most of what I find at Joann's or Walmart to be quilt-shop quality.

This quote is from their website:

"All fabrics are 100% premium cotton. Fabric manufacturers include Marcus Brothers, Debbie Mumm, Legacy Studios, VIP/Cranston and Keepsake Calicos by Joann. All fabrics are hand-selected and are guaranteed to be quilt-shop quality."

Cheapest I found was the $17.50/roll that I paid and that was because it was the daily deal. I just check stores with daily deals to see if they have what I want on sale. I got lucky that the one store I looked at had the roll I wanted and I could get 2 for the sale price.

I have bought from Green Fairy--two times and the price of this site (40 total) is about the same when you add postage.

The other thing to watch out for is who is cutting the jelly rolls, and how. Are they laser cut (probably very accurate) or are they being cut with a rotary cutter?

go pick out 20 fabrics that you like and have a quarter yard cut... you will be paying for 5 yards, and you will have 3 jelly roles a leftover strip that goes into your scrap quilt bag... meanwhile, you will have 3 rolls ...ALL with fabrics that you love... get a June Tailor strip cutter ruler while you're there, it will be free if you count what you're saving on the jelly rolls...
