    I purchased many things at a recent sewing sale, one of which is a bag of quilt pieces for a baby quilt with no picture of how the quilt is to be laid out. The squares are 6 inches and are cut in half into triangles.
    There are 20 pink chenille squares;
    38 coordinating cotton fabric squares-green background with tiny pink stars and yellow moons;
    4 solid yellow strips 47 1/2 inches x 4 1/2 in;
    4 solid yellow strips 2 In. x 46 in;
    5 pink chenile strips 65in x 3 in;
    and 5 strips of the green, yellow and pink fabic 46 in. x 2 in.
    Does anyone have an idea how this was supposed to go together? It will be a lovely baby quilt . Thank You!

    Welcome to the board from Southern California!

    Not sure how that is supposed to go together. Maybe someone on here has some suggestions.

    Thank you for thinking about it. I might be able to make a pinwheel design? Guess I will just play with the squares and see what I can come up with.

    I need to make a baby quilt and was looking at the chenille fabric. Boy is it expensive. Have no clue how it is suppose to go together. but have fun figuring it out.

    It sounds like maybe half square triangles, with sashing out of the strips, plus the borders. I think it will be cute. Just start laying it out and maybe you'll get very inspired and very lucky...or both...and figure it out easily. Good luck. I like how it sounds!!

    The lady that had this spared no expense on any project that she started and everything was so organized. The pink chenille is just so dainty and soft. I cannot believe she didn't have a picture of the quilt in the bag with the pieces. I am still playing with it, but so far I cannot figure out the different lengths in the chenille strips and the green and yelow strips. Ithink I can figure out something, hopefully!

    Sure, I will try to take a picture this weekend, maybe even today. I played around with the squares yesterday and you can make a pinwheel but there are green squares left over and I honestly don't know what to do with the strips--the chenille could go lengthwise, but the green and yellow ones seem to be too short to cross the quilt. Too be continued.... ;-)
