Default Christmas came early-Featherweight!
DH walked in from work this evening with a black box & said, "Look in there & see what you think".
OMG! It's a beautiful little featherweight! She is lovely & runs beautifully! I am so, so excited & just had to share. I did look on line & she was made in May 1951. Her little emblem states that she is an anniversary edition

How sweet, enjoy your "new" machine! My husband got me one (actually 2) recently and I have enjoyed using it.
