If you are thinking this this direction..... how about a collection of half-square triangle blocks. This could help clean out your stash, be used in charity quilts or be the start of a new scrappy quilt, pillow cover etc. Small travel sized hand lotion may be a good idea also. I keep one in my sewing basket for the times my hands get dry just from handling fabric for hours at a time.

Every year I make something for our Managers at Wal Mart. There are 20 of them. I also make one for the kids, grandkids. (There are 28 of them) Just a little something.

This is what I am making this year https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pB4jFqkn8MY. It is not a good picture but here are a few of the ones I have made so far (I am using the football team they like as a theme. One doesn't like football so I did it in CHRISTmas.

I am making stilettos for my sewing friends. Use a turkey lacing skewer, some jewels and gorilla glue or E6000.

Thank you. I got the idea from one a friend gave me.

    I got the skewers on Amazon.com http://www.amazon.com/Chef-Craft-Pou...=turkey+lacers

These were the best price I found -- 2 packs of 12 each for $6.09. If you buy some others, be sure that they have the "O" on top and not the straight bend. My daughter also found some 8 packs for 50 cents each in the sale bin at the grocery store. SCORE!!!! I bought some of the prestrung bead sets at Michael's when they were having a buy one/get one half price. Each skewer holds three medium beads with spacer beads, and I could get 2 to 3 stilettos from one string.

Oh I just love this idea. Yesterday was Thanksgiving here so should be able to find turkey skewers for a good price.

I wish we had a like button. All of the photos of gifts are so cute and clever. Thanks for posting.

I'm making altoids tin sewing kits for stocking stuffers -- a couple of cheap bobbins wound with neutral thread, a needle book with assorted needles, a mini pin cushion (or magnet attached to lid) , small seam ripper, chunk of beeswax for the hand quilters, some basic buttons, those cranes bill small scissors can fit too.
