Do you want them made only from fabric or do you work in other mediums as well? Such as polymer clay, and other craft objects?
I've been making ornaments since 1977 for my kids, and now grandkids. My DD loved them as for years her tree as a young adult was with the ornaments I had made her. This year they have a 9 foot tree, so they may have to buy a few. lol

I'll be watching this thread as well to learn more. When I find my pics I'll share a few.

Also check out Pinterest for ideas. LOTS of things on that site.

Years ago I used lollipop molds and plaster of paris to make ornaments...We painted them and then sprayed them with clear spray paint...After putting the plaster in the mold insert the string or ribbon you are using for a hanger before it hardens.

Are you talking about using a styrofoam ball, pressing the fabric into the ball, and it looks quilted?

Hummmm, I have no idea where to even tell you where the instructions for it are. Anyone else know what I am talking about?

I have compiled a list of quilted Xmas ornaments but it's too large to post here (see signature for link). I found a lot of them. I'll be making a few this year.... here is my personal to do list...
http://linaloo.typepad.com/linaloo/2...work-star.html
http://modestmaven.blogspot.com/2009...-tutorial.html (made these last year and they were great! I added wings to mine)
http://patchpieces.com/sharingpatch.html - the star heart one is on my to do list.

There are oodles of them online for free and even more if you want to pay for a pattern.
