I've been asked to make a chef's hat and apron...with his Chef XXX embroidered on it......for a 1 yr old. Anything past that (quilted) will be voluntary and for fun!

I have planned 1 King sized quilt for a friend that doesn't celebrate Christmas because he is Jewish. It will be a Hanukka/birthday (Jan. 2nd) present that will prob be done around Christmas time. I also have a lot of PUL scraps from making my grandbaby's cloth diapers that I will probably be making into reusuable sandwich and snack bags for the school age grandkids.

Thats about it along with all the cookie and candy making type stuff that I tend to do around the holidays.

Edited to add: The neighbors that live a few doors down just got married last St. Pats day. I saved their wedding invite which is of course done on white paper with green lettering. I want to make them a Christmas ornament that looks like this http://christyrobbins.blogspot.com/2...-ornament.html

Right now I'm working on items to sell at my craft shows in November. Just finished about 30 tissue holders, and now will move on to some scarves. I'm also painting items as well so I'm going back and forth between sewing and painting things. After my craft shows are over, I have to make my son a quilt for Christmas (along with matching pillowcases and a curtain), finish my hubby's quilt and a wall hanging for my daughter.

I am working on the Christmas Flag quilt featured in the Quilters' newletter mag. Patterns for three blocks appear each week are on the internet and will continue until 11/5. (This began on 7/2)

I do believe that it will be Christmas 2013..or perhaps 2014!!!!

lots & lots of pieces as it is PPing and there are hundreds of pieces to the patterns..but I will say....

IT IS A CHALLENGE .............

I have on table runner finished, working on the next, once I get the metallic thread working I should be done with that one pretty quickly. Then I still have 2 more quilts to do. One I am working on now, until I can figure out the metallic issue. THen to find the fabric for the other one and get started.

Have one quilt done working on another, then have one to quilt, stockings, ornaments, wall hanging, etc. I already feel like I am behind. Time is moving too fast lately.

I have two quilts to make but I didn't promise them, no one knows I am planning to make them as gifts so if I get done fine if not I already have bought back up gifts. The quilts will become birthday gifts. I made swap ornaments in July so those are done for the ornament exchanges I'm belong to. I finished my Secret Santa gifts thanks to the vendor booths at the last quilt show I went to. I bought fat quarter towers for my donation to the guild's silent auction table. All the guild members have the same projects and patterns I have so making something would be mostly duplicates. Who doesn't want a big stack of fat quarters?

I have finished a quilt top for my brother that needs borders and quilting. I am also making a wall hanging for a girfriend - first time paper piecing. I have one more quilt to begin and finish, along with a few pot holders and mug rugs. I usually only do sewing in my class until I get my sewing room done - whenever that is! It is painted and I am putting in carpeting now, then furniture. Hopefully in the next few weeks I can be ready to sew at home and get some of this stuff done. I have already finished several dishclothes for gifts (knitted). And I thought I was ambitious!

I am currently quilting the lap quilt I made for my husband last Christmas. How bad am I? I kind of tucked it away until the holidays were over, and it stayed tucked.
