Love magazine subscriptions and the Elm Creek books are some of my favorites. Lucky you!

Santa gave me 20 spools of thread and a batik charm sampler pack all from Connecting Threads. They couldn't understand why I asked for it or how excited I am. Some people just don't get it.

I just give Santa a list and he picks from it.
This year one of the things was a gift card to my favorite LQS---he went all out and put $200 on it!

I also throw in some books and he got two Nicholas Sparks books, The Lucky One and The Last Dance. I read the first one yesterday.

Then he and DD bought me Jeopardy for the Wii. Played it yesterday and it's a lot of fun. I was pretty good on the easy setting, don't know how well I'd do on the medium or difficult though.

I asked one of my kids who lives in Texas to visit my favorite shop that I like when I visit there and purchase 3-4 fat quarters - his choice....telling him the sales clerk would know what he was asking for and would help him. What he sent me was wonderful...6 half yard cuts of A Journey in Time fabric; 10 coordinating Moda fat quarters; 2 yards and 6 fat quarters of Dr. Suess fabric. He said he wanted me to be more supplied and be able to really make something not just add to what I already have! It was a wonderful surprise now I guess I have to get busy and make something out of these...just not sure of patterns yet but the fabric is beautiful.
