Default Looking for silk

In April I am schudeled for a class. Silk dupioni was recomended I need 9-20 Fat quarters of the same color value. I have looked everywhere local no one carries it, or they only sell by the yard (one yard cut min.) Anyone know an online sorce for FQ's or what would be a good sub? This will be a wall hanging. Thank you

Check with a Bernina dealer. There was a wall hanging/quilt they did a couple of years ago that was made with silk. I think the kit was composed of fat quarters. My Bernina dealer still had a few of the kits a couple of months back. They were expensive though! You might also want to check with the Martha Pullen company. They have lots of silk dupioni, but I don't know their minimum cut size. They are very helpful though and might have another recommendation. If you want the name of my Bernina dealer, just message me and I'll give it to you.

Try J and O fabrics or Denver Fabrics. I have bought duponi from them.

Missouri Quilt Company also has silk...they might be 1/2 yard cuts tho, now that I think about it.
