Christmas Stocking gift card holder

Help! over this busy holiday i saw a picture of 3 or 4 christmas stocking card holders on a branch would love to make this for grandchildren but for life of me I cant find the link or remember where I saw it thanks sheri

The Dec issue of Creative Machine Embroidery has some free downloadable stockings with animals on the top.mdont remember if they were gift card holders or not.

Thanks Patty, these were not embroidered. It's making me crazy trying to remember where I saw them lol

There are some in the December issue of Quilter's World. Could that be where you saw them?

How about looking for a paper pieced block and shrinking it down?

actually they would be very easy to make out of felt---just cut out two pieces, decorate as wanted an stitch around the outsides.
