For written directions, have you tried looking in Jenny's Block Quilt Magazine? I guess you could say I'm a charter member in that magazine and she has the written instructions for most of her tutorials in these wonderful magazines. I could look up to see which volume they are in if you would like.

The pattern is probably in one of their issues of BLOCK magazine. Send MSQC asking which magazine the pattern is in.

That Slice of Life pattern is very similar to BQ2.

I have the perfect pattern for a quick but elegant quilt using a layer cake (10x10 inch sqs). It's from Thimble Blossoms.
The pattern name is "A piece of Cake". Pattern number is #120. Designer is Camille Roskelley. Size of quilt is 71x63.
The website listed on the pattern is: www. thimbleblossoms.com. Phone number on pattern is 702 673 7161. Have fun!!!

GailG. Thank you adding the idea of using google to Samelia mum. It came right up. I love it. I just received my half square die from Accuquilt and I'm excited to try it on this pattern. Thank you again.

Try this like to Samelia's mum: http://www.sameliasmum.com/2011/05/1...l#.VfcIlXuKIu0. I just tried this link after pasting it and it worked. It is a cute quilt.

I love Christmas fabrics done up in log cabins. There are so many ways to lay them out and all are so pretty. Shows off the Christmas colors just right.

Here's one I did in Christmas fabric. It's called "Outside the Box, and All Grown Up". It's quick and easy to make and shows off the fabric beautifully. Mine is done in RK fabric in blue tones, and my friend made hers in the same fabric in reds and greens.

Vinnie, I looked up this pattern on MSQC and her quilt looks different. It doesn't have the white intersecting lines like yours. Did I look at the wrong pattern?
