Perhaps if you checked YouTube you saw the Double Slice Layer Cake. I have not seen a video of Slice of Life. However, Slice of Life is in BLOCK vol 1, number 4 Late Summer, or you can purchase the pattern from M*QC. Hope this helps.

I LOVE Boxed Squares! I've done this pattern about 12 times. So easy, and you can make it any size you like. This one has a center square that is 2 1/2 inches. It is really impressive with a lot of different colors.
