where did you get your patterns for the civil war quilts?

I am currently working on "The Long Road Home" quilt for my son. I can't tell you how much easier my life is when I decided to order the 'kit'. Having to pick out all those fabrics myself....well, let's just say the LQS might not be OPEN long enough for me to make all those decisions :-D

The quilting designs I am using I designed myself using Victorian motifs and some stencils that have that same sort of look. No pattern involved for the quilting.
