Hi Guys,

i have a little gracie II. Should I be cleaning the tracks.... If so, what with?

I clean the tracks on my Nolting with alcohol. Some people use a silocone spray, sprayed on a cloth and then rubbed on the tracks.

I clean the tracks and the wheels on my HQ16 with a damp paper towel every time I use it. It is in the basement and though I keep it covered it still gets dusty.

Can I ask what type of alcohol.....rubbing alcohol maybe?

i am in the UK and we don't use that much here.

It must be rubbing alcohol. Rubbing alcohol is sold in pharmacies here, in a plastic container, on shelving near the hydrogen peroxide. Probably somewhere in the area where bandages are sold.

I usually wipe them down before quilting with SM oil...just a tad not much, mine get dusty from fabric and thread
