It is a lot of work, seems I have become quite a packrat! So far I have been working on the room for 3 days, hope to have it done by the end of the weekend so I can start on another room.
I started by looking for a ruler that I had misplaced, and still can't locate hmmmmmmm. That told me I needed to clean the room entirely and put things in marked bins so I knew where they were.

not yet lol, the room looks like a tornado hit right now. I moved out 5 carts that had things that were NOT sewing/quilting related.
Tonight is moving the books across the room (room is 13x14)
Then maybe I can put a table up to put a wireless computer in the room so I can do patterns, the board etc.

I know that feeling, I have 2 pairs of pinking sheers, only one is where I know where I can find it lol.
I have yet to venture into the closet in that room - not sure I want to but know I have to.

I'm doing almost the same thing right now, only I'm painting first! I haven't seen my sewing machine in three weeks!

I am in the process of setting up my sewing room where my office "used" to be. Got tired of stuff scattered in different rooms, tucked out of sight, which means out of sight, out of mind for me! I really didn't like using a corner of the diningroom, which is small anyway and using the table for sewing on. I started on Tuesday... cleaning, sorting, searching, and I'm really getting "there!" It's coming together. And I didn't have as much stuff as I thought.

Good luck with your cleaning. You'll love it when you're done.

When I finally cleaned up my room, I couldn't find anything!!! Everything was put in new places, but I just couldn't find stuff!!! After a few days, I finally got used to where things were! Did you find that ruler yet??
