The first one, with the black border/binding, is much more appealing to my eye.

I do really like the red, green, then red as you show it in post #8. I think that really looks good. The red isn't overwhelming and the green seems to calm all the colors. That is what I would use. I really like how you did all the different colors in the blocks. Great job!

I agree with you and like the photo you downloaded @ 3:35pm. I like the red accent border and then the very dark green followed with what I assume is the red binding. The only thing that concerns me is the width of the green border might be just a little wider in proportion to the size of your blocks.

I like the red, green, red version also. I don't know that you have the green snowflake fabric shown in your first photo but I really like that with the theme of the quilt and it has a bit of white (the snowflakes obviously) in it. That would certainly be my choice. However, which ever way you go, you will have a stunning quilt!!!

I seem to always like a darker border and binding. It makes the eye stop at the edge.
