Yes, I am seeing them out there too for I just received some quilt catalogs this past week. Keepsake still has them as I'm sure the others do too(I think clotilde has it too). I bought mine at JoAnns -I'm sure I didnt pay the price they are showing at keepsakes. I'm not real thrilled w/mine either and have used it only on one project. I find it also difficult to use. I feel like 5 thumbs w/it!:0)So, am back to using my reg steam iron:)Skeat

Got mine about a year ago with a coupon from Joannes. I'm with you Izy, it's easy to burn yourself and it doesn't stay put very well. Nice to have it for classes especially.

I've had one for a many years - and yes, it is easy to burn yourself with it! I haven't used it much either, since I don't do a lot of small work or applique.
I was told a couple of years ago by one of my local quilt shops that they didn't allow them in their classes any more because they get too hot & guess they had too many accidents with 'em.

Thanks for the heads up! I need to get the accessories to go with mine. I bought mine at a quilt show about five years ago and I just got the iron and the pouch. I also bought the iron rest to go with it. It is blue tile and wood base with a wire that holds it when you aren't using it. I think it was being offered/sold at clotilde in the last catalog.
Now to find those accessories before they are gone......
