Cluck Cluck Sew Patterns
I recently got an email from a shop I used to frequent in MI and they had talked about several patterns by Cluck Cluck Sew. I went to the website and liked several of them and was wondering if anyone has made them and if they think beginners could do them. (I want some different patterns to teach beginners and to use for workshops.) Please let me know if you have any of them and what you think. Thanks!

here is the website in case one is curious about what they are http://www.cluckclucksewpatterns.com/
to me, some of the patterns look easy enough, but i've never used one, so am not familiar how easy the instructions are to follow.

Thanks for posting the link. They look easy to me as well but I have no idea how well they are written and I sent an email asking questions but never got a response. I'm tired of teaching the basic beginner quilts and wanted something different and several of these looked cute.

I had to smile when I saw this thread. I also saw an email that was sent out recently from a MI QS. This morning I was going back through some of my emails and was attracted to the Off Track pattern. I really like that one because I can use up some of my stash strips and it is a more modern pattern. I also think it would be a fairly easy pattern that can be completed quickly, which would be a nice compliment to some of the more difficult quilts I am working on now.

I just looked at the site, the patterns are quite nice. Being a new quilter myself, I would probably try quite a few of those. Most look quite easy (if time consuming). If the directions are difficult to follow, tell you students what my mentor told me. "One sentence at a time." Just read one sentence, not the whole step. Understand it, then move on. It really works.
