If the pieces are big enough, you can sew them together and use them for table runners. That's what I have done.

I use them for lots of things, stuffing pillows if they are to small to sew together for a big project. I use them zigzag stitched together for coasters, doll quilts, and anything I need just a little batting or stuffing for. My theory is that it costs so much that we can't just 'throw it away' we need to use every square inch. Or am I just cheap??

Not cheap...resourceful!
I've sewn bigger pieces together and used them for quick lap quilts that I know are just going to be dragged around the place. Have used them for those that have asked me to make quilts for their cars....you know so they have a blanket to cover up with when they go star gazing? lol

Thank you. I too have a son in the militay, Navy, he is a chief petty officer and has been to Iraq 3x now. Unless you have a son who puts his life on the line for our country it's hard to understand who we are. Bless you and your son. Tell him I'm proud of what and why he does what he does. Thank you

If you click on Search up above and type in coasters, click on advanced search and then in the drop down box click on Links and resources, then click the search button.

There will be a full page of links members have given us to browse :D:D:D
