    Color Bleed Test

I have a red fabric that I need to test to see if it bleeds into the fabric I have it sewn into. What is the easiest way to do this? I have scraps that I can test.

I was taught to put the fabric in a jar (used a small Tupperware container) with hot water and detergent. Shake it up on and off for 10 to 15 minutes then rinse lay the fabric on a white paper towel. I believe I learned this from Harriet Hargrave.
