Those of you who use these, I would like to know where you all
purchase them.
I,m not familiar with these but would like to store my fabric and
would like some input from all the experts.

I went to a comic book store that was close to my home, because I didn't want to wait for them to be mailed. They were $3.98 for 50. Check your local yellow pages you may have a comic book store close to you. Originally I bought 150 (3 packages) and ended up going back 2 more time. Due to the dust and lots of sunshine, I keep my fabric in plastic containers. I open them up often enough I am not concerned about mold.

Ordered mine off Amazon. I think it was about 100 for $11.

Before going to the bother and expense of buying these boards, I decided to see if I would like having my fabric standing on edge, so to speak. I had already folded my 1-yard and larger fabric to approximately the size of the boards, using my 8.5"x24" ruler, so all I had to do was change the orientation of the stacks from horizontal to vertical. To my surprise - and delight - the fabric was tightly packed enough to stand on its own! I now have most of my fabric shelved vertically, like books, and didn't use a single board. I find it's much easier to take a fabric out for auditioning with other fabrics than when they were stacked horizontally. This may not work for everyone, but for me it was a success.

A lot of people go to Dollar Tree and buy their "boards" - cut them up to whatever size they need - they are, of course, $1 each for a very large piece. Also, you can check with your local sign maker - the ones that make the signs for political signs - the ones that the politicians put all over town during an election. They can sell you big sheets of it and possibly even cut it for you - don't know how expensive it is though. Doubt if you would want to use any "leftover" signs as they would have paint on them and it might come off on your fabric.

I just ruler fold and it works beautifully for me. You should try at first. Much cheaper.

If you do decide on them, as previously stated any comic book store would have them. However I know that Amazon has plenty of options as well regarding size. Current comic size is 6 3/4 x 10 1/2, Regular size is 6 7/8 x 10 1/2, Golden age is 7 1/2 x 10 1/2 and Magazine size is 8 1/2 x 11.
