    I think you should try out a spool and see if your machine likes it. I have a lot of CT thread, their cotton Essential Thread in many colors. Sometimes my Viking Husqvarna 875Q does fine and other times I have tension problems. Try it out before you spend a bunch of money and get a lot of spools. I do like So Fine & Masterpiece for piecing, by Superior Threads. Essential Thread is more linty than other threads I've used.
