Ok...I did it...I caved and made the purchase!
I bought about 15 FQ's from Sweet & Sour and then about 10-15 FQ's from Impressions of Kyoto. I also ordered a charm pack of the Breeze line.
All this for under $30!!! I can't wait to receive my order. This is my first online fabric purchase so I am a little nervous! But this might be the start of a beautiful but dangerous relationship! haha

I checked them out about 2 am this morning. I'm away from home getting radiation at the Cancer Treatment of Centers of America in Zion, IL. Couldn't sleep because of the steroids. Got on their site and found the sale on their kits is fantastic. I wish I had about $200 to spend. I'd have enough quilts to make for a year. I've ordered from them several times and love the fabrics, feel like silk almost. Sews really nice. But I guess I'd better watch my money. Sigh........... My sis was with me for 2 weeks and we both wished we had our sewing machines. Miss that girl, but hubby is here now. I am sleeping better since he's here. Doesn't feel right in bed w/o him after 42 years.

Hi Linda -- Hope you're doing OK. The next time you can't sleep, you can probably find someone in Chat -- especially in the middle of the night. They can keep you entertained for hours.... :D :D :D :D

Yeah, but hopefully I'll soon get a decent nights sleep. It can be tough. Seems like months since I've slept more than 3 hours. I'm going home Friday (I hope). My own pillow and bed will help, along with a couple of weeks to recoup from the radiation. This is my 5th or 6th time of having radiation. I won't be able to take much more, but hopefully I won't have to anytime soon. This is twice this year. Sorry, don't mean to sound whiny. I'm actually living a pretty good life, with the exception of when these metastasis' crop up. I was able to start quilting again and doing other enjoyable things so life is good and I'm grateful for each day I have with my family and friends. I've even learned a lot from this experience that I would not give up for anything. Like how much my husband really does love me. Like how many friends I actually have. Like what's important in life. I probably shouldn't even send this reply since it's so off the subject, but here it is anyway. Thanks a lot for letting me vent.

I got my latest Connecting Threads order yesterday. I ordered a couple yards of dark brown fabric to use in the chocolate-raspberry block swap. The fabric that had the little sticker that said "dk. brown" was actually LAVENDER (LMBO)!! It was really very pretty and I think I'll keep it and maybe go to my LQS to get the drk brown
I've placed lots of orders with them this year and this is the only mistake I've seen -- pretty good average I think! :D
