Some days it just doesn't pay to get up and try to work on a quilt. I messed up one block and had to take it completely apart and then re-do it. Upon the re-do I realized that I had set the center block embroidery straight instead of on point. So now I have had to change my design. I hope that tomorrow is much better, because I have walked away from the machine today. Hope that everyone else has an awesome day. Happy Sunday!

I find I can't sew when I'm tired or not in the mood - All I do is make mistakes

thats the best thing to just walk away and it doesn't take long you can go back.

I just read a blog post where the author had designed a quilt for the moda bake shop and while assembling the quilt, she put some blocks on wrong. So she took them off and put them back on. Wrong. But she didn't notice the 2nd time so her quilt was shown on the bake shop with the blocks on wrong.

Some days it seems like the only thing to do is go to bed, get up, then start all over again. Take a break, drink your favorite beverage, have a snack then try again.

I have days like that....
Sometimes it's just best to walk away for a while.
