My girlfriend has two professionally made twin bedspreads and wants to join them and make a kingsize bedspread. Does anyone have suggestions on how to go about this? I suggested taking them back to the store that made them.

Do you have any pictures? It would be easier to make suggestions if we could see them :D:D:D

Without seeing them , is there any way to take out the seams on the sides that will be joined and sewing them together ? how are the edges finished off ?

I sure don't know but have been thinking about this & it seems like there would be a seam right down the middle joining them. Will that look okay or odd? You would of course have to remove the finished side before joining them but, I can't wrap my brain around how it would look on the top. Are they quilted?

depending on your seams you would cut one in half and sew each half to the sides of the other twin so you have 2 seams and they are not in the middle. Clear as mud?

I would need to see a photo. The biggest problem would be the length. Isn't a twin about 5" shorter than a king? You would also lose a couple inches in the width when it was resewn.
