I found a new use for my bag of cookie cutters that have not been used for cookies for, well, I don't remember when I used them. They make really good quilt templates for fussy cuts and applique shapes. Now I'm looking around my house in a whole new way to see what else can be used.

I'll have to dig mine out and see what I have.
Thanks for the suggestion.

What a coincidence! I was just looking at the quilted circle I cut from my tree skirt and wondering what to do with it, and tracing little shapes with a cookie cutter and cutting them into ornaments came to my mind. All I need to do is bind them after that. Thanks for starting this thread.
