I went through my leftover pieces and found quite a few 5" squares and wondered what I could do with them. Does anyone have ideas for me? Thanks in advance. :D :D

Table runner or topper ?? Wall hanging ??

Search for 5" charm patterns on the web, there are tons of free patterns out for all the precut squares that are so popular now.

Here is one I made from 5 inch squares I won at a camp retreat. I usually cut up my left over fabric pieces into common size squares or strips and save till I have enough for a quilt.

There are a lot of patterns for nickle squares out there and I think there's even a book called nickle squares around. I think nickle squares are 5 inch squares.

Pat Speth has at least 3 books on "Nickel Quilts", "Amazing Nickel Quilts" and I can't think of the name of the 3rd book. It might be "More Nickel Quilts". She has a website too. You might want to google her. Her patterns all start out with 5" squares and go from there.

I used a charm pack to make a Disappearing Nine Patch. You could add a solid color to your scraps so you have enough for a decent sized quilt.
