Default Cost to LAQ a XL twin $140 in Orange County

Is this overpriced? if it is, will someone privately contact me and give me the name and phone number of something I could send my quilts to via US mail?

I hope this doesn't break the rules, if so sorry.

I suppose it depends on the type of quilting you ask for ! Did you get a quote in advance?

In addition to the above, it really depends on what that cost includes. You'll likely have shipping costs if you mail it off. The last finished quilt I mailed to its new owner was about $25.00, if you're mailing to a LAQ shop, you'll likely have shipping costs 2 ways....just something to consider.

If it is close by that you can drop it off and pick it up, that saves postage. I would consider it a little high for a pantograph or edge to edge. If custom quilted, it is fair.

Let's say the twin is 65x95. (That would be XL) That's 6175 square inches, so $140 would amount to about 2.25 cents per square inch. That's the low end for a pantograph in many areas.

I agree with Dunster. Sounds like a fair price.

If I can't do it myself I have to be prepared to spend the bucks to get what I want. I always get a price before I leave the quilt.

It's for an edge to edge using autobahn, which is a swirl with cars in it. It's local so I can take it and pick it up here in town.
