? Cover for Sharper Image E-Reader

I would like to make a cover, but still keep the reader in the case that came with it. I am wondering how to do that with the thing that holds the bottom of the reader. Does that make sense? Thanks for your help!

i made one for my friend..went together surprisingly easy. I found the heavy board at my local Hobby Lobby. =)

I think the Sharper Image is larger than the Kindle, but my problem is that I would like to keep it in the hard cover that came with it. I am worried about just the fabric cover to protect it. Thanks for the link!
