I started this pattern last night. I try to enter one crochet item in our district fair every Sept. So far I have won blue ribbons for crochet every year. Not as lucky with my quilt entries. :? :-D :-D :-D

I used to but not anymore. I don't find time to quilt and do other crafts too. I am making a crocheted afgan for my greatgrand baby a little at a time.
your project looks really pretty. Hope we can see a picure of it when finished.

I love to thread crochet! I make edgings (I call them laces) for pillowcases and give them as bridal shower gifts. My grandmother made each of her GD's a pair of pillowcases one Christmas. I still remember her working on mine and didn't know it was for me! She is long passed but her laces are still there and maybe I'll give them to my GD (if I EVER get one!) Your pattern is beautiful! What thread (brand) are you going to use? Do you use it for most of your projects?

That is gorgeous! I crochet. I can even crochet with thread if ......... my Mommy starts it for me! I can never get the base part going. I need something to hang on to. How's that for the red faced confession of the day!

I'm not very good in crochetting. I only know how to make simple things. Now I have a knitting addict. :D
I'm making hats for Innocents drinks.

Your pattern is very pretty. I have made so many of the doillies in the past I run out of room to put them

I can thread crochet as long as it isn't black. I can't see well enough to see the black threads anymore. I guess I could put a white pillowcase on my lap and then try it lol.

That's a nice pattern.

I'm just learning I've done two paper piece blocks. One was of 4 diamonds and one was a birds in flight block.

Very pretty doily and WAY above my ability level. My grandmother did all kinds of thread crochet, even a bed topper piece for one of her daughters. What color will you make it?
