Default Crazy for hexes: dog bone pattern

should I start another hex quilt in a 1" hex that forms a dog bone?
It's a lot on the hands, but I need a long term project. Should I do it?
Never saw this pattern and it would be fun.

Saw a butterfly hexagon quilt on Pinterest the other day, adorable! I'm think dog bones would be cute too!

I think it would be cute, and a nice change from the standard hexie patterns. Go for it!

I think you should do it. I can see why the hexie craze is zooming in popularity. It is so interesting to me to the heights to which the simple hexie has soared. I like them but don't plan to join-I have too many things going on.

Your hexies, your project, your quilt and you're good at it. Of course and why not?
