    Smile Creative Festival purchases

The Creative Festival is being held this weekend in Toronto, so of course, I just had to go on the first day. Check out my buys! The fat quarter bundle in the front of the picture is Kaffe Fasset's fall 2012 collection- it just jumped into my bag- after I paid for it of course. I could have spent so much more money but had to put an elastic band on my wallet, LOL. Oh the inspiration! I bought a wool applique kit to try out the technique too, never done that kind of handwork before. I replaced my Gingher thread snips that dissappeared somewhere, a few patterns, a Fons and Porter design wall, 2 Rapid Fire rulers, a small tumbler die for my GO, 2 other interesting fat quarter bundles and some odds and ends too. Had a great day, and my DH was glad that I spent some money on myself. Nice man!

Lots of great stuff here!!! There is so much to be tempted by at these shows. I'm taking a rapid fire hunter's star class on Saturday - in fact, I should be cutting for it right now

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Rapid Fire Lemoyne Star ruler! I have made lots and lots of stars for several quilts, walllhangings and table runners. The ruler is so accurate, it's just a pleasure to sew! I hope you like it as we'll as I do!
